Combined weighted average report for Oklahoma auctions. Seven auctions reported this week: Ada, Apache, El Reno, McAlester, Oklahoma National Stockyards, Tulsa, and Woodward. Feeder cattle and calves sold sharply lower this week as cash prices moved lower with the declining cattle futures. Feeder cattle sold $4-$8 lower. Steer and heifer calves traded $3-$6 lower. Demand moderate as buyers cautiously watched the direction of the futures.

On Thursday, negotiated cash trade was light on light to moderate demand in Kansas, Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt. Thursday in Kansas, few dressed sales sold at $243.50 with live sales at $155. In Nebraska on Thursday, compared to live sales prior in the week, a few live sales sold $1-$4 higher at $156. However live sales for the week have sold $6-$8 lower compared to last week from $152-$156. On Thursday, few dressed sales sold steady at $244 compared to Wednesday. On Wednesday in the Western Cornbelt, live sales sold at $154 with dressed sales from $240-$243 mostly at $240. Trade was mostly inactive on light-to-moderate demand in the Texas Panhandle and Colorado on Thursday. Last week in the Texas Panhandle, live sales sold from $158-$160 and from $160-$160.50 in Colorado.
