Oilers trade Barons defenseman Shawn Belle
Oklahoma City expected to add two new defensemen
The National Hockey League trade deadline will affect the Oklahoma City Barons more than the Edmonton Oilers.
Edmonton traded Barons defenseman Shawn Belle to the Colorado Avalanche on Monday. In another deal, the Oilers sent Dustin Penner to the Los Angeles Kings. The Oilers received two defensemen and two draft picks.
