Scouting report: The Barons the past five weeks have been the American Hockey League’s hottest team, going 10-2-2 to climb to ninth in the Western Conference, two standings points behind Milwaukee... Mark Arcobello, the reigning AHL Player of the Week, has 20 points in 10 games since being re-assigned to OKC. Team captain Anton Lander is among the league’s top 25 scorers (44 points in 41 games)... Brad Hunt is sixth among blue-line scorers. Goalie Richard Bachman’s overall stats have dipped (3.10 goals against average, .909 saves percentage), but he’s been in net for all but one game during the hot streak. Hamilton, the Montreal Canadiens’ Triple-A affiliate, is five points behind OKC. The Bulldogs don’t score much (averaging 2.5 goals a game) — but they don’t give up much (3.0) either. They also acquired former Edmonton Oilers goalie Devan Dubynk during Wednesday’s NHL trade deadline. Their top scorer is Martin St. Pierre (37 points).
