Scouting report: Scoring three early goals, the Barons won 4-1 in Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in a best-of-7 series. ... Barons' fourth-line forward Tanner House was diagnosed with a concussion following a controversial hit by Grand Rapids forward Triston Grant in the second period of Game 3. House is expected to miss the two weekend games. Coach Todd Nelson won't announce House's replacement until Friday, but Ryan Martindale is a candidate. ... Game officials said it was a shoulder-to-shoulder hit. But if AHL officials determine it was a head shot, Grant could be suspended for a game or two. ... The Griffins weren't outshot in the first two rounds, but the Barons have outshot Grand Rapids 33-21 and 37-22 in their two wins and own a 98-71 edge in the series. ... Both goaltenders have played well. Red hot the past 10 weeks, OKC 31-year-old veteran Yann Danis is 9-4 with a 2.07 goals against average and .934 saves percentage in the playoffs. Danis has allowed only five goals to a Griffins team that's scored 43 postseason goals. ... Grand Rapids' 21-year-old Czech rookie Petr Mrazek, who might be the Red Wings No. 2 goalie at some point next season, is 8-6 with a 2.23 GAA and .911 saves percentage in the playoffs. Mrazek has allowed only seven goals (two empty-netters don't count) against OKC, which has produced a Calder Cup-best 51 goals. ... Both power plays have struggled. OKC is 1-of-11, Grand Rapids 0-of-9. ... OKC has four of the top 10 Calder Cup scorers: AHL All-Star Mark Arcobello (17 points, 10 goals); Finnish rookie Toni Rajala (14 points); Edmonton Oiler loaner Teemu Hartikainen (14) and team captain Josh Green (12). ... Grand Rapids has six of the top 20 scorers but Tomas Tatar (13 points) is the only one in the top 10. ... Fridays are $1 hot dogs and $2 beers.
