Tickets: Prices range between $10 and $40. Tickets can be purchased at the Cox Center box office or by calling 232-4625.

Promotions: Fridays are $1 hot dogs, $2 beers; a vehicle is given away to one fan at every Saturday home game; Saturday also is Backpack Night.

Scouting report: Texas is 3-1-0 versus Oklahoma City this season. The Barons' only win was 2-1 in overtime two months ago. ... The Barons' top scorer, Linus Omark (29 points), was traded Thursday night to the Buffalo Sabres. The Barons' parent team, the Edmonton Oilers, will receive a sixth-round pick in the 2014 NHL Draft. ... OKC's new leading scorer, center Roman Horak, has 17 points in 29 games. He has 10 points in 16 games with the Barons since being acquired in a trade with the Calgary Flames. ... NHL-proven goaltender Richard Bachman (3-5-2, 2.58 goals against average, .920 saves percentage) has returned following a groin injury that sidelined him six weeks after he earned a promotion to Edmonton. ... Texas has three of the American Hockey League's top scorers, but Colton Sceviour is now with Dallas. Travis Morin (34 points) and Chris Mueller (26 points) remain with Texas. The Stars top goalie is Christopher Nilstorp (7-8-1, 2.99 GAA, .903 saves percentage).
