ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Brandon Davidson scored 2:54 into overtime Sunday afternoon, giving the Oklahoma City Barons a 5-4 American Hockey League victory over Rochester before 5,202 fans at Blue Cross Arena.

Davidson’s third goal of the season capped a successful three-game road trip for the streaking Barons, who picked up five of a possible six standings points. Oklahoma City (28-24-8) has not lost a game in regulation since Feb. 23 at Toronto.

Oklahoma City blew a 2-0 lead Sunday — and trailed 4-2 entering the third period. But Roman Horak and Brad Hunt scored even-strength goals 1:19 apart to tie it. Mark Arcobello continued his run of producing points for the Barons. He assisted on Horak and Davidson goals; Arcobello has 24 points in 12 games since being sent to OKC by the Edmonton Oilers.

The Barons outshot Rochester 32-17, including 13-4 in the third period.

Phil Varone led the Americans (30-20-9) with a goal and two assists.

Oklahoma City returns to the Cox Convention Center at 7 p.m. Tuesday against San Antonio.
