Scouting report: The Checkers have dominated the season series, winning all six games, including 9-3 and 4-0 victories a couple of weeks ago in Charlotte. ... OKC is 11th in the Western Conference with 44 points. Charlotte is 10th (45 points). ... Bolstered by the return of Mark Arcobello, the Barons are riding a season-best three-game winning streak. Arcobello has scored four points in his two games since being reassigned to Oklahoma City by the Edmonton Oilers. ... The Barons leading scorer is team captain Anton Lander (30 points in 30 games). ... Roman Horak, obtained in an early season trade from the Calgary organization, has 27 points. ... Barons goaltender Richard Bachman has won his last three starts to improve to 11-12-4 with a 3.00 goals against average and .911 saves percentage. ... Charlotte, the Carolina Hurricanes Triple-A affiliate, is led by Aaron Palushaj (40 points). Palushaj has 10 points in six games vs. OKC. With 38 points each, Zach Boychuk and Chris Terry are among the AHL's top 40 scorers. Charlotte's top goalie is John Muse (16-9-5, 2.53 GAA, .918 saves percentage).
