OKC Barons: Barons try to avoid elimination Tuesday night at Grand Rapids

Scouting report: The Griffins lead the best-of-7 series 3-2 following a 3-0 win on Sunday. ... Barons forward Tanner House, who suffered a concussion in Game 3, did not make the trip. ... The Barons went 14-5-2 on the road in March, April and May. ... Both goaltenders have played well, and they're matched against the two highest-scoring teams in the Calder Cup playoffs (OKC 51 goals, GR 51 goals). ... Grand Rapids' 21-year-old Czech goalie, Petr Mrazek, (1.40 goals against average, .960 saves percentage in the series) is riding an eight-period shutout streak. ... OKC 31-year-old veteran Yann Danis (2.20 GAA, .914) has held his own. ... Reassigned to Grand Rapids before Game 4 by Detroit after the Red Wings' season ended last Wednesday, Joakim Andersson (three points, one goal) and Gustav Nyquist (one assist) gave the Griffins an offensive lift. ... The Barons' top two lines have scored six goals in the series but none over the last two games. Teemu Hartikainen has two goals, but Jonathan Cheechoo's empty netter is the only goal since the first period of Game 3. ... Special teams played a key role in Games 4 and 5. The Griffins scored three power-play goals and a short-handed goal. In contrast, OKC's power play is 1-of-21 in the series. ... The Barons have outshot the Griffins by 47 shots (175-128). ...
