GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Cory Emmerton scored at 13:14 of the third period to give the Grand Rapids Griffins a 4-3 win over the Oklahoma City Barons in front of 8,254 fans at Van Andel Arena on Saturday night. The loss snapped Oklahoma City's eight-game unbeaten streak.
Mitch Callahan had two goals, and Adam Almquist had three assists for the Griffins.
Mark Arcobello scored at 7:45 of the third period to tie the game at 3. C.J. Stretch and Steve Pinnizzotto also scored for the Barons. Brad Hunt added two assists.
Griffins goalie Petr Mrazek stopped 36 of 39 shots to pick up the win. OKC's Richard Bachman faced 37 shots, stopping 33.
The Barons' road trip continues Sunday with a 3 p.m. game at Toronto.
