OKC Barons fall at Rockford in shootout

— The Oklahoma City Barons rallied to tie the score late in the third period, but fell to the Rockford IceHogs 5-4 in a shootout on Saturday night.

Martin Marincin tied it at 17:39 of the third period, but the Barons did not score in overtime or the shootout.

Will Acton, Roman Horak and Derek Nesbitt also tallied goals for OKC.

Barons goalie Richard Bachman stopped 32 of 36 shots in regulation and overtime, but only stopped one of four in the shootout.

The Barons return home Friday and Saturday for a pair of games against the Texas Stars.
