Grand Rapids scored a power-play goal and a short-handed goal in a 3-0 win over the Barons on Sunday afternoon in Game 5 of the American Hockey League Western Conference finals.

The Griffins were 2-of-2 on the power play in Game 4 on Saturday and followed with two special teams goals in Game 5 on Sunday.

In contrast, Oklahoma City was 0-of-6 on the power play in Game 5. The Barons are 1-of-21 in the series with the man advantage.

“Let's face it, that's something that's been hurting us,” said Barons coach Todd Nelson. “It comes down to burying our chances. I feel we're getting good looks on the power play. We just have to finish.”

LANDER MIGHT RETURN TUESDAY

Forward Anton Lander, assigned to Oklahoma City after the Edmonton Oilers season ended, made the trip to Grand Rapids. Sidelined the past three weeks after he suffered a knee injury in the second-round series against the Texas Stars, Lander might play Tuesday night. If he can go, Lander would rejoin the line of Teemu Hartikainen and Toni Rajala.
