The AHL playoffs have been rough for Barons defenseman Colten Teubert.

Last season, he was injured in the first round against Hamilton and missed the last three games of the six-game series.

In the third period of Tuesday night's Game 4, Teubert took a shot to the face underneath his shield and did not return.

Barons coach Todd Nelson said he didn't see where the shot hit Teubert.

“He's been a big part of the defense corps,” Mark Arcobello said. “That's a big loss for us if he misses time.”

“He's a tough guy,” Teemu Hartikainen said. “Hopefully he can come back when we get going again.”
