OKC Barons: OKC begins final playoff run this week

Barons host Texas Stars at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Cox Center. Iowa is in town for 7 p.m. contests Friday and Saturday.

Tickets: Available at the Cox Center box office. Prices range between $10 and $38.

•Scouting report: OKC is eighth in the Western Conference, two points in front of Rockford and Charlotte for the final playoff berth with three games left in the regular season... Mark Arcobello, the Barons all-time scorer, has 28 points in 15 games since he was reassigned Feb. 2 by the Edmonton Oilers. He has missed the past 10 games with a shoulder injury. Arcobello won’t play this week but might rejoin the team if Oklahoma City makes the playoffs... Roman Horak (53 points) leads OKC in scoring. Brad Hunt (50 points) owns the team record for points by a defenseman... Texas is led by Travis Morin (86 points), the league’s leading scorer. Stars goalie Christopher Nilstorp is 26-12-4 with a 2.49 goals against average and .917 saves percentage. OKC goalie Richard Bachman is 25-18-6 with a 3.01 GAA and .908 saves percentage.
