Scouting report: The Barons open a four-game road trip with two games against the Dallas Stars' AHL affiliate. Texas in second in the Western Conference. The Barons are in 14th{+.}{+ }... The Stars own a 5-2 edge in the season series. ... Barons team captain Anton Lander has scored 13 points in 10 games since he was reassigned to Oklahoma City a month ago, including a goal and two assists in a Thursday win over Toronto. Will Acton, who returns following a one-game suspension, has scored five points, including three goals, in three games with the Stars. ... Texas is led by 30-year-old veteran Travis Morin, who leads the AHL in scoring (62 points), and Colton Sceviour, who leads the AHL in goals (27). Sceviour has compiled huge stats versus the Barons with 11 points, including seven goals, in five games. ... Both team's No. 1 goalies have near identical saves percentages — OKC's Richard Bachman at .909, and Texas' Christopher Nilstorp at .908, but Nilstorp owns the edge in goals-against average 2.78-3.00.
