Water conservation

Water conservation triggers have taken effect in Oklahoma City. If reservoir levels drop this summer because of the drought, residents will be required to observe progressively stricter outdoor watering restrictions. Neighborhood organizations and associations can arrange a workshop on conserving water presented by the Oklahoma State University Extension Service, Horticulture and Landscaping Architecture Department. It's a fact

Oklahoma City has been billed $28,621.10 by the Oklahoma State Auditor and Inspector's office for an audit that criticized the city's $850,000 stockpile of police radios. Spokeswoman Kristy Yager said the city expects at least one more invoice; the city council authorized spending up to $100,000, which was the state auditor's estimate.

Ward 4 Council Member Pete White missed Tuesday's City Council meeting. He is recovering from injuries including a broken arm that he suffered in a fall as he was stepping off a curb.
