The Oklahoman's Steve Lackmeyer took questions from readers in today's OKC Central Live Chat. You can join Steve's Q&A's on Fridays at 10 a.m. and submit your questions about the happenings in and around downtown Oklahoma City.

Steve Lackmeyer 10:03 a.m. Good morning everybody.
Guest 10:03 a.m. Is the City pursuing any of Jeff Speck's suggestions in his walkability study that he did a couple years ago?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:05 a.m. Some of the recommendations are being pursued as part of Project 180. But quite a few are not. The city chose not to make any changes to the confusing intersection of NW 4, Broadway, E.K. Gaylord and Dean A. McGee. The city also chose not to follow his recommendations for E.K. Gaylord or the boulevard.
soccer fan 10:05 a.m. Excited for the growth of soccer in Tulsa and OKC now with 2 semi-pro teams playing?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:05 a.m. Growth in sports entertainment for the city is always good.
Wes L 10:06 a.m. Where is the best sushi downtown?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:06 a.m. I don't know - I'm not a sushi guy.
Ray 10:06 a.m. Are there any planned or construction projects on Classen or Western currently? I have seen some dirt moved closed to 7th street?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:07 a.m. I can tell you the two streets will be merged at the new boulevard.
Dr. Jo Harding 10:07 a.m. Who is Zeke Campfield? What kind of punishment is he looking at? Horrible actions.
Steve Lackmeyer 10:07 a.m. I don't know.
Ray 10:07 a.m. When is the next meeting on the new downtown park?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:07 a.m. Not sure.
Ray 10:07 a.m. When will we know where the GE complex will be?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:07 a.m. The competition is still between Oklahoma City and Norman.
Dr. Jo Harding 10:08 a.m. Steve, what is the best mexican restaurant in the city? In a follow-up, what did you think about the Spurs-Heat last night? Clutch shot by Tony Parker. Take care.
Steve Lackmeyer 10:08 a.m. Taco Bell? Heck, I don't know. Yeah, the game last night was great.
Ray 10:08 a.m. When will we know if the city was able to buy the land for the Convention Center? What is Plan B if they can't buy that land?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:09 a.m. We should hear something this summer. I'm not sure there is a Plan B.
OKC Midtowner 10:10 a.m. Do we know exactly which streets will be totally blocked off for the #QuietZone rail crossing upgrades? Looking for a detailed implementation document of sorts.
Steve Lackmeyer 10:10 a.m. Yep. The street closings were listed with my last story.
Ray 10:10 a.m. Does the City own the land west of third and west of Sycamore Square? Will it be bid out like they did the Legacy?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:11 a.m. Yes, the empty land is owned by the Urban Renewal Authority. I expect it will go out for an RFP this next year.
Guest 10:11 a.m. Steve, last week you mentioned one of your wishes for DT was an urban Super Target. I think we all appreciate Native Roots but for those in the core, the closest full service market is on 18th and Classen - and Homeland seems unaware that its one of their worst in the city. Are there any legitimate chances for a full scale market in walking/bike distance to DD and MT?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:12 a.m. More shopping options are coming.
Dr. Jo Harding 10:12 a.m. Steve, have you ever thought about going into television?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:12 a.m. Heck no.
Ray 10:12 a.m. Does the city own all of those empty lots in Midtown between 4th and 8th streets?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:12 a.m. No. Most are privately owned.
Ray 10:12 a.m. Are there any new buildings in the works at OUHSC?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:13 a.m. There's always something in the works - but nothing announced to my knowledge.
Jose 10:13 a.m. What was your first reaction when Devon Energy announced that they were not building a second skyscraper anytime soon?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:14 a.m. That they gave similar comments prior to announcing their headquarters. Companies do not talk about new building projects until they are ready to do so.
Ray 10:14 a.m. Are there any new "national" chains opening up downtown?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:14 a.m. Not to my knowledge.
Ray 10:14 a.m. Has the Bagel place in Leadership Square opened?
Steve Lackmeyer 10:14 a.m. Yep
DGinOKC 10:14 a.m. Steve I liked the new commercial that highlighted biking around downtown OKC. I hope this is the start of more marketing slogans to have fun and get a workout out in around town.
Ray 10:14 a.m. With a tight housing market due to the Moore Tornado, do you see more townhouse or condo construction downtown? And are there any new apartments going up.
