OKC Central Live Chat 10 a.m. Today

by Steve Lackmeyer Modified: August 16, 2013 at 7:35 am •  Published: August 16, 2013

Last night I talked about tonight’s festivities on Film Row. Let’s not forget, there’s also fun to be had in Lower Bricktown starting at 8 p.m. and running through 10 p.m. The above video is none other than Oklahoma City’s own Matt Stansberry, who is part of a generation that has chosen to stay in OKC instead of bolting as almost everyone with any talent in the creative community did a quarter century ago. My suggestion – go to Film Row, stick around until 8:30 p.m.  (the Premiere festival ends at 9 p.m) and then hit Stansberry’s concert in Lower Bricktown.

I also urge you to share this video with friends, and support Matt and others who are making OKC’s live music scene the best it’s been in a very, very long time. This current crop almost certainly includes the next Vince Gill, Flaming Lips and Toby Keith -only even better.

As for OKC Central Live Chat – yep, we’ll get to chat at the normal time today. Live chat is posted at 9:30 a.m. at the NewsOK business page where you can post questions and comments, and our discussion will start at 10 a.m.

Have a great day! And don’t be surprised if you see me out and about tonight! And if you do – say hi!
