Halfway through a 12-game homestand the RedHawks are a perfect 6-0 after winning in the bottom of the ninth for the second time in three nights.

Brandon Laird's walk-off RBI single with two outs lifted the RedHawks to a 4-3 win over the Reno Aces on Wednesday night in front of 3,458 fans at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

After Reno scored a run in the top of the inning to tie the game, Che-Hsuan Lin was hit by a pitch to lead off the bottom of the ninth. Lin advanced to second on a ground out. Reno's Evan Marshall struck out George Springer for the second out, but Laird singled to center to win it.

RedHawks left fielder Trevor Crowe and catcher Carlos Perez collected three hits each. Crowe singled and scored in the first and drove in a run in the fourth. Perez singled and scored in the fourth and drove a run in with a sacrifice fly in the sixth.

Reno got a two-run homer from 35-year-old veteran Juan Rivera to tie the game 2-2 in the sixth.

Pacific Coast League All-Star Jason Stoffel picked up the win to improve to 6-1. Stoffel surrendered a run in the ninth but escaped a bases-loaded, one-out jam to keep the game tied.
