The RedHawks improved to 32-22 at home, highlighted by six walk-off wins. Laird has been involved in four of them.
Laird doubled to deep center in an 11-inning win over Omaha five weeks ago. Laird scored the game-winner on a throwing error May 8th in a game OKC overcame a 6-0 deficit. Laird also scored the game winner on Perez's 12th inning hit against Iowa in mid-June.
The other two walk-off wins were when Austin Wates supplied a bases-loaded single in the ninth in a win over Salt Lake City, and Springer scored on a wild pitch after leading off the ninth with a triple in a win Monday over Iowa.

OKC starter Wade LeBlanc, claimed by the Astros when the Marlins designated LeBlanc for assignment seven weeks ago, gave up two runs on four hits and recorded eight strikeouts in 62/3 innings. ... The RedHawks have squandered leads in the final inning nine times but have rallied to win three times. ... The RedHawks are a season-high 12 games over .500 ... Jimmy Paredes singled in the first to extend his hitting streak to 10.
The third game of the series Thursday night at 7:05 matches RedHawks right-hander Paul Clemens, who the Astros recently reassigned to OKC, against Reno left-hander Tyler Skaggs (6-6, 4.26 ERA), the Arizona Diamondbacks top prospect.
