OKC RedHawks' home opener set for Friday night

Opening Night festivities

When: 7:05 p.m. Friday

Where: Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark

Pregame: OKC Mayor Mick Cornett will throw out the first pitch. ... RedHawks mascots Cooper and Ruby will be driven onto the field in a classic 1960s Corvette. ... Roderick Porter of Del City, named the grand prize winner of The Oklahoman's national anthem tryouts, will perform the Star Spangled Banner. After the anthem, pilots from the Tulsa WarBirds will fly a fighter jet over the ballpark.

Post-game: Fireworks show (every Friday)

Tickets: Prices begin at $7. It's also Sonic Friends & Family night. Fans can purchase four tickets, four hats and four Sonic combo meals for $29 total. Tickets can be purchased at the RedHawks ticket office, by calling (405) 218-1000 or by visiting okcredhawks.com
