OMAHA, Neb. — Jose Valdez suffered his third blown save of the season Thursday night, balking home the winning run as Omaha beat Oklahoma City 2-1 in Pacific Coast League baseball before 6,758 fans at Werner Park.

Valdez entered the game in the bottom of the ninth inning, hoping to notch his 13th save of the season. Instead, Omaha rallied for two runs. Valdez issued back-to-back walks with one out and a throwing error by second baseman Jake Elmore set up the Storm Chasers' rally. With the score tied 1-1 and with two out, Adam Moore scored the winning run when Valdez balked. ... OKC pitchers nursed a 1-0 lead for eight innings. Starter Asher Wojciechowski had another strong outing, blanking Omaha on four hits, a walk and five strikeouts over seven innings. ... Omaha starter Yordano Ventura was solid, too.
