RENO, Nev. — The Oklahoma City RedHawks capped off their series in Reno with a 12-8 win over the Aces on Friday night.
In a game that took nearly 31/2 hours to complete, both managers and the RedHawks’ Max Stassi were ejected for arguing calls on the field. The RedHawks tallied 17 hits, marking the fourth time in the past six games they’ve recorded at least 14 hits.
Kiké Hernandez finished with a game-high four hits, including a home run and a triple. Marc Krauss and Joe Sclafani had three hits apiece. Krauss notched two doubles with a game-high three RBIs.
Jason Stoffel earned his team-leading eighth save of the season for OKC. RedHawks starter Mike Foltynewicz worked 52/3 innings to earn his sixth win of the season.
OKC opened a four-game series at Tacoma late Saturday night.
