Salt Lake 6, Redhawks 4

The Oklahoma City RedHawks rallied for three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but Brandon Laird flied out with the bases loaded to end it as the Salt Lake Bees hung on for a 6-4 victory on Saturday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The loss snapped the RedHawks' 11-game home winning streak.

With the RedHawks trailing 6-1 in the bottom of the ninth, Che-Hsuan Lin hit a three-run home run off the Bees' Fernando Cabrera to trim the deficit to two. Austin Wates and Jonathan Villar singled and Brett Wallace walked to load the bases, but Mitch Stetter forced Laird to fly out and end the threat.

Wates was 3 for 4. Lin drove in all four RedHawks runs.

RedHawks starter Ross Seaton (0-3) allowed four hits and three runs in five innings to take the loss. Bees starter Billy Buckner (4-2) worked eight-plus innings to get the win. Stetter earned his second save.

The four-game series continues at 7:05 p.m. at The Brick. Jarred Cosart (4-0, 2.18 ERA) starts for OKC.
