by Tim Willert Published: February 20, 2014

Oklahoma City school district board members are meeting tonight to consider a weather makeup day, a school safe room policy, and a community school for Edgemere Elementary.

The board also will hear about a plan to alleviate elementary school overcrowding by changing attendance boundaries, adding portable buildings and closing a middle school and reopening it as an elementary school.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the district’s administration building at 900 N. Klein.
