Within a span of 10 days, Thunder forward Kevin Durant traveled from Oklahoma City to Orlando, Fla., and then back to Oklahoma City, and then to Portland, Ore., and then to Los Angeles from there to New Orleans for last weekend’s All-Star Game.
After scoring 38 points in a 163-155 West loss to the East All-Stars, Durant returned to his OKC home and “stayed in my bed for two days straight. I didn’t come out of my room for two days straight.”
“It felt good to get some rest,” Durant said after Wednesday’s practice session. “All-Star weekend is hectic, and we were on the road before that. I was glad to get some rest. Ate good. Slept good. Watched some movies.”
