*Spurs guard Manu Ginobili on his team-high 26 points: “You just play and see what the defense gives you. I haven't scored like this all season. It just happened.”

*Brooks: “We take a lot of pride in our defense. Over 30 points in the fourth quarter is not good enough to win.”

*Barkley on what Game 1 tells him: “It tells me Oklahoma City's in trouble. I'll tell you why — San Antonio didn't play well.”

*Parker on whether the Spurs feel like they're never going to lose: “We don't even think like that. Oklahoma, they're a very, very good team. They made it very hard on us tonight. We're going to have to play a lot better if we want to win Game 2.”

*Durant on getting fourth-quarter shots: “I don't always have to have the ball in my hands. I'm just going to keep trusting in my teammates and in our system ... no matter what people say.”

*Barkley after seeing Westbrook's podium outfit: “We've got to have an intervention, man, with Russell Westbrook.”

*TNT analyst Ernie Johnson: “It's a nautical look.”

*Barkley: “If it's a nautical look, then keep it at the beach.”
