Brown on Devin Ebanks getting ejected and tearing off his jersey: “Young fella might pay for it outta his pocket. Those are times you gotta try to keep your cool because A: You gotta protect your wallet and B: It's not the right thing to do.”

Lakers forward Metta World Peace: “Right now it's all about basketball. I think after the season if fans want to talk to me, tweet me at or hit me at RonArtest.com or got to my podcast the Ron & Metta Show, after the season we can talk about that, but right now it's more about basketball for me right now.”

Thunder forward Kevin Durant: “I think we needed a few days (off), to be honest. Coach did a great job of letting us go at it in practice.”

Durant: “To be honest, man, I think we could be better. We could do a lot of things better.”

Westbrook on the difference in this series compared to the 2010 playoff series vs. the Lakers: “I feel a little more experienced...a lot more comfortable.”

Durant: “I'm always saying we can't get too high, we can't get too low. You know those guys are going to come out and play extremely hard.”

Durant: “We've just got to keep improving. That's what I'm going to keep preaching. Keep improving and learn from our mistakes.”

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant: “My experience is telling me to stay patient and just think the game through.”

TNT folks on Russell Westbrook's postgame look (polo shirt adorned with fishing lures, red-rimmed glasses):

Charles Barkley: “Well, at least we know they got a TJ Maxx in Oklahoma City.”

Ernie Johnson on Westbrook's red glasses: “Is this Sally Jessie Raphael? I tell you he does have the official Gone Fishing shirt.”

KennySmith:“It's a college shirt.”

Shaquille O'Neal: “No it's not. It's Toys R Us. I've got one word for you: Garanimals.”
