TNT game analyst Reggie Miller: “(The Lakers) have no answer for Russell Westbrook because he's like a human pogo stick.”

Miller: “The longer this series goes, the chippier it's going to get. These two teams don't like each other. It's the Hatfields and McCoys.”

Thunder guard Russell Westbrook: “We ain't played in a while ... so I just tried to come out aggressive.”

Thunder coach Scott Brooks: “It's good to see the four turnovers. Four? We've had that in the first six minutes of games at times.”

Brooks: “It's one game. It's the first team to four that wins this series. Regardless of whether you win by 1 or 20, it has no impact on what happens Wednesday night.”

Brooks: “That's what our crowd does all the time. It doesn't matter when we play, who we play. They always give you a boost.”

Lakers coach Mike Brown: “The bottom line is this is the playoffs and you gotta come play. We didn't.”
