> “She brings poise, personality and a great sports background to our broadcasts,” said Ken Adelson, Thunder senior vice president and executive producer. “Along with reports from the sidelines during game broadcasts, we can look forward to Kelly hosting portions of our pregame, halftime and postgame show.”

Adelson said Walker-Campbell, a former OU basketball player, still might be involved with the telecasts as an occasional studio analyst from Fox Sports Oklahoma’s Dallas studio.

Working with play-by-play announcer Brian Davis and analyst Grant Long, Crull will cover all the home games and some of the road games, similar to how the team handled the role last year. Adelson said her other duties, including producing in-depth feature stories, contributing to the weekly “Air Thunder” show and serving as a community representative will preclude her from covering all games.

Crull said she is scheduled to make her last on-air appearance on KOCO on Aug. 1. She will start with the team Aug. 23.

“I’m very excited,” she said. “I think this is going to be a tremendous opportunity.”

Crull said has enjoyed covering the Thunder for two seasons for KOCO.

“Every game was just a blast, and the fan base is tremendous,” she said. “Last season, they grew immensely as a team and showed everybody what they are capable of. What a fabulous time for me to be joining this organization.”
