And on Wednesday, Durant made it three straight, winning Player of the Month in January. But it's tough to see him outdoing this most recent 31-day stretch.
In 16 January games, Durant averaged career-bests in both points (35.9) and assists (6.1) for a calendar month. He scored 30 or more points 13 times, 40 or more five times and had a career-high 54-point game against Golden State.
Without Russell Westbrook, he spearheaded a 13-4 month for the Thunder.
