Kevin Durant has ended his brief relationship with Rob Pelinka, the agent he unexpectedly switched to last February.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star is widely believed to be considering partnering with music mogul Jay-Z and his newly-formed Roc Nation sports agency.

But another possibility is for Durant to rejoin Goodwin Sports Management, the agency headed by brothers Aaron and Eric Goodwin. It's the agency Durant started his career with, blossoming into one of the league's biggest brands, before going in a different direction midway through his fifth season.

Pelinka, who also represents former Thunder guard James Harden, confirmed in a statement Friday night that Durant had cut ties with Landmark Sports Agency.

“We are honored and blessed to have worked on behalf of Kevin, for a brief period of time,” Pelinka said. “He is an amazing person and athlete, and we are proud of our work and service towards advancing his brand in a manner that reflects the mutual qualities we share with Kevin. We wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors.”

The Sports Business Journal first reported Durant's departure from Landmark Sports Agency.

Durant's contract with the Thunder runs through the 2015-16 season.
