Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant will not play in the team's regular-season finale Wednesday night.

Durant took to Instagram to announce he wasn't playing.

“SITTING OUT TONIGHT'S GAME,” Durant posted. “If you (are) disappointed I didn't try to go for the scoring title, oh well!!”

Durant, the reining three-time NBA scoring champ, would have needed to score 70 points to overtake New York's Carmelo Anthony in the scoring race.

The Durant-less Thunder faces Sacramento at 7 p.m. at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
