OKC Thunder notebook: Jeremy Lamb goes off for career-high on his former team

And they did on Sunday against Houston, with Jackson going 7-of-12 for 16 points in his second game since returning to the starting lineup.

Jackson also played a flawless floor game, dishing out eight assists and committing zero turnovers.


In six minutes, Steven Adams had more made field goals (three) than Harden (two) or Jeremy Lin (two), who played a combined 55 minutes.


Thunder coach Scott Brooks will appear on NBA TV on Monday afternoon as a guest on the show “The Beat”.

NBA TV hosts Vince Cellini, Sekou Smith and customary NBA sideline reporter Craig Sager will interview Brooks.

The show airs at 4:30 p.m. and re-airs at 12:30 a.m.


Kevin McHale, when asked if Houston's recent shooting struggles have to do with a taxing schedule: “No. We're not heaving boulders, we're shooting a basketball. I think that thing weighs like an ounce or two.”


The Thunder gets a shot at some redemption on Tuesday night, with the Portland Trail Blazers in town on New Year's Eve. Earlier this month in Portland, LaMarcus Aldridge dropped 38 points on OKC, leading the Blazers to a dramatic late win.
