OKC Thunder notebook: Kevin Durant hopes Thunder roster stays intact at trade deadline

The NBA's trade deadline is 2 p.m. Thursday. The Thunder has been rumored to be shopping for an affordable shooter.

With the NBA's trade deadline set for 2 p.m. Thursday, rumblings out of Oklahoma City have remained at a murmur.

The Thunder has been rumored to be shopping for an affordable shooter, but nothing definitive has materialized yet. 

And, apparently, Kevin Durant hopes it stays that way.

“I don't think anyone in this group is on the trade wire,” Durant said. “I hope not.”

LEBRON COMES TO OKC SCORCHING HOT

When the Thunder invaded Miami in late January, Durant was playing his best basketball of the season.

When Miami comes to Oklahoma City on Thursday, LeBron James is returning the favor.

In his past three games — all Heat wins — James has compiled 115 points, 31 rebounds and 18 assists. He went for 42 points, nine rebounds and six assists on 16-of-23 shooting in Dallas on Tuesday, his first 40-point game of the season.

And since the Heat lost to OKC on Jan. 29, James is averaging 30.4 points, 8.9 rebounds and 7.6 assists in seven games. Miami is 6-1 during that stretch.

“I'm in a zone right now,” James told reporters after Miami's win over Dallas.
