It is not known when Adams will return to the lineup. Thabo Sefolosha remains day-to-day.

Early in the fourth quarter of the Thunder’s blowout win in Memphis, rookie center Steven Adams came down awkwardly during a rebound attempt, twisting his right ankle.

Adams tried to stand up, but couldn’t put weight on it. Moments later, he was helped to the locker room, where the team determined he had a right ankle sprain.

In the postgame locker room, Adams had a slight limp, but no walking boot or crutches were needed, a good sign for the Thunder.

THABO SEFOLOSHA REMAINS DAY-TO-DAY

Despite missing both games on this brief road trip, Thabo Sefolosha was spotted on the floor during pregame in Memphis, going through a light workout.

Sefolosha, who is out with a sprained right knee, is considered day-to-day. Coach Scott Brooks doesn't seem to think it'll be anything to worry about long-term.

“We'll see how he feels (tomorrow),” Brooks said.

ROBERSON STARTS IN SEFOLOSHA'S PLACE AGAIN

With Sefolosha out, Andre Roberson was given another shot in the starting lineup.

And for the second straight night, the rookie filled in admirably, going for seven points and four rebounds in 19 minutes, while harassing Jerryd Bayless all over the court.

In the first quarter, Roberson drilled his first career 3-pointer, a shot that would make him a dangerous role player if he could make it semi-consistently.
