Late in the fourth quarter, Thunder point guard Reggie Jackson was struck in the face. He immediately left the game and didn't return.

There was no update on his status postgame, but Jackson looked a little woozy in the locker room.

Sefolosha leaves game with calf strain

Early in the first quarter of the Thunder’s win over Memphis on Friday, Thabo Sefolosha came down awkwardly after a lay-up and began grimacing.

Moments later, Sefolosha was pulled from the game with what the team is calling a left calf strain.

He did not return. The timetable for his return is not yet known.

Sefolosha has missed four games this season – three because of knee issues and one because of the flu.

Joerger on PA system

The last time Memphis coach Dave Joerger was in Oklahoma City, he was visibly frustrated with the volume of the Thunder’s PA system.

On a couple of occasions, Joerger turned toward the scorer’s table and pleaded with them to turn the music down.

“We got on the plane last time and every one of our people were just, like, their ears were ringing,” Joerger explained before Friday’s game. “You don’t get that in other places. The music’s awfully loud. It just is what it is.”

Joerger went on to explain why that can be such an annoyance.

“We're all people,” he said. “We all have a work environment. If I cannot communicate yelling at the top of my lungs from you to me away no matter where it is, it’s too loud, in my opinion. If the crowd is loud, that’s what you love, no matter if it’s home and away. If the crowd is into it, that’s something different. Completely different.”
