A move that’s been known about for weeks was made official on Tuesday.

The Thunder has signed veteran point guard Sebastian Telfair to a one-year non-guaranteed veteran minimum deal.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to welcome Sebastian to the Thunder organization and Oklahoma City community,” Sam Presti said in a press release. “His competitiveness and work ethic have complimented his on-court leadership skills throughout his career, and we are excited to be able to integrate these qualities into our team.”

This will be Telfair’s eighth organization in his 10 NBA seasons. He has career averages of 7.4 points and 3.5 assists.

Last year, he spent the season in China, averaging 26 points per game.
