Was the rough start attributed to both teams playing crucial games just 36 hours earlier?
Hollins: “It's also playing a different club. You've been playing the same team six games. After that first quarter, the teams played pretty decent. It was not a very pretty first quarter.”
How did you get your big lead and how did it get away?
“We played quicker and we were more in tune on defense. We took away a lot of shots that they were getting in the first. We just weren't able to sustain it in the fourth quarter. Kevin Durant's a great player and he got going to make some good shots.”
Why not use Tony Allen to defend Durant, which you once did?
“That's a few years ago. Durant's a few years older. When we put him on him in the season, he just took him to the post. And it causes us to help way too much when Durant's in the post on a smaller guy.”
