Q: What got the Thunder going early and put you guys in a hole?

A: “They were shooting the ball pretty well. They got too many easy points. I think they got 17 fast-break points and 42 points in the paint. That’s way too many. We tried to make the game close. We tried to be right there neck and neck. Once they took the lead, it is a lot tougher to get back. That got them going.”

You’ve won two in OKC, but with it being Game 7 how much different is that?

“We’re going to play our game no matter if it’s a Game 7 game or Game 1 or Game 2. We are going to have to be really consistent with what we do. Just because they make a couple of shots, we cannot try to make our own adjustments and try to freak out just because they made some shots. They’re going to make shots. They’re a good team. They do that. But we got to be a little more disciplined defensively. On a turnover or a missed shot, we really got to get back because that team really takes advantage of that.”

Did you guys do anything different on Kevin Durant? How did he get going tonight?

“We’re not going to give him anything easy, if that’s your question. We didn’t say, ‘Well, let’s ease up on him today.’ We didn’t’ do that. Trust me. Our goal when he gets off a screen or breaks the first guy down is to bring somebody as quick as possible. He was pulling up before getting to the paint or right at the paint. He shoots a little fadeaway. He’s pretty tall so he’s hard to get there. And when he did miss they got some offensive rebounds.”
