SIGHTS AND SOUNDS FROM GAME 2
Just when you thought things couldn't get any crazier at The Peake, Game 2 came along.
SEEN AND HEARD
*Some Thunder fans got up close and personal with Ron Artest (Metta World Peace) in the first half when the Laker enforcer crashed into the first row of seats. It took a minute for him to get untangled and on his feet, but when he did he mussed up the hair of the guy who took the brunt of the collision. That fan? Oklahoman publisher Chris Reen.
*Former Thunder forward Morris Peterson sat courtside with Kevin Durant's family. He played four games for Oklahoma City during 2010-11 season before being traded to Charlotte, which waved him four days later. Even though he hasn't played in the NBA since, Mo Pete is one of the all-time good guys in the league.
*Spotted: Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin and Rex Linn of “CSI: Miami” fame. The actor went to Casady School.
*TNT analyst Craig Sager stepped it up a notch from Game 1. After an outfit that fell well short of his normally wild combinations, he went with a striped blue shirt, a red-and-blue patterned tie and a blue jacket that wasn't far off the blue shirts worn by Thunder fans.
*Speaking of those shirts, Thunder fans wore blue and white shirts for Game 2. The colors alternated from one section to the next. It was a totally sweet look both at The Peake and on TV.
*Know what else looked sweet? The scene outside The Peake. Another crowd in excess of 5,000 packed Reno Avenue to watch the game on the screen outside the arena.
*To the folks who left with the Thunder down seven points and two minutes left — you regretting that decision Thursday morning?

What the Twittersphere had to say during Game 2:
@DaveTelep: The fact that OKC Thunder GM Sam Presti has never been Executive of the Year seems mystifying to me.
@NOTSportsCenter: Hours before Game 2 tips off, and the #Lakers are unofficially down by 15 to the #Thunder already.
@tmains4: I'm not a Thunder fan. I just simply hate the Lakers.
@mkokc: Love Twitter. People at the game, fans at home, Sooners and Pokes. All complaining about the refs.
@NotBillWalton: Thunder/Lakers has slowed down to a snail's pace with excessive foul calls. These refs need to swallow their whistles unless they see blood!
@A_Boogs_life: The Lakers barely beat the Thunder in the playoffs in 2010. Thunder are way better. And Kobe is way older.
