OKC Thunder signs center Hasheem Thabeet
The Oklahoma City Thunder officially signed center Hasheem Thabeet to a contract on Wednesday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Thabeet (7-3, 263), the second overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, has appeared in 135 games (16 starts) with Memphis, Houston and Portland, averaging 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per game.

NBA BASKETBALL: Portland Trail Blazers center Hasheem Thabeet talks with reporters during a news conference introducing Thabeet and guard Jonny Flynn on Monday, March 19, 2012, in Portland, Ore. Thabeet and Flynn were acquired, along with a second-round draft pick, from Houston in exchange for veteran Marcus Camby last Thursday at the trade deadline. The Blazers also traded forward Gerald Wallace to the New Jersey Nets for center Mehmet Okur, forward Shawne Williams and a protected first-round pick.
