OKC's greatness marred by miserable streets

The April 28 Outlook 2013 sections were loaded with wonderful stories and examples of the progress Oklahoma City has made. We're extremely proud of these accomplishments and certainly hope to see more of the same in the future.

However, one area that's been overlooked is our inner-city streets. Many of them are deplorable and it's embarrassing to attempt to show off our city while being forced to drive on these miserable roads. While only one of many examples, take a ride on NW 23 between Portland and Meridian — go slow because you may damage your car.
