The former Stillwater High standout pitcher — the son of OSU coach Frank Anderson — has been with traded from the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Oakland A's and was promoted to play Double-A ball in Midland, Texas , where he was born, last month.
When he competes: U.S. begins play Aug. 13 vs. South Korea . The medal round starts Aug. 22.
