The judge overseeing former Rep. Randy Terrill's bribery trial is a former prosecutor who was elected to the bench in 2010.

Cindy H. Truong, 38, is one of the newest district judges at the Oklahoma County courthouse.

She was an assistant district attorney in Oklahoma County for years. In her campaign, Truong noted she came from Vietnam at age 11 unable to speak a word of English but “learned fast.”

Her campaign slogan was “law enforcement's choice.”

She spent more than $180,000 on her campaign.
