Body found inside trunk
ST. LOUIS — The body of a missing Oklahoma woman whose infant was found abandoned at a St. Louis-area apartment complex has been found. Police found the body of Ebony Jackson, 30, in the trunk of her car on Tuesday. Jackson's 3-month-old son was found Friday at an apartment complex in Breckenridge Hills. Jackson was originally from East St. Louis, Ill., but had been living in Oklahoma City. She was reportedly visiting the St. Louis area, but relatives have not heard from her since Thursday. The cause of death has not been determined.
Man held in Colo. deaths
PUEBLO, Colo. — Colorado officials report Daniel Bessey, 41, has been booked into the Beckham County jail in connection with the shooting deaths of two people in Monte Vista, Colo., last year. He is being held in connection with the deaths of elementary school custodian John Salazar, 54, and Sarah Beasley, 29, who shared a home with Salazar.

Homicide suspect is jailed
TULSA — A Tulsa man was arrested Tuesday night on a murder complaint stemming from an October shooting death in Glenpool, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. About 8:30 p.m., OSBI agents and Tulsa County sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Andrew Whitt, 27, in the shooting death of 31-year-old Mark Coble of Glenpool, OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said. Coble was gunned down Oct. 11.

Man accused in assault
A Warr Acres man is accused of punching his pregnant girlfriend during an argument, court records show. Damien Alaquent Stevenson, 34, was charged Tuesday in Oklahoma County District Court with domestic assault and battery against a pregnant woman, a misdemeanor, records show. The woman told police Stevenson beat her Dec. 16 during an argument in the 6000 block of Northwest Expressway, records show. The woman said Stevenson knew she was pregnant and she did not press charges.

Child porn case draws plea
A man pleaded guilty Tuesday to child pornography charges and was sentenced to two years in prison. Anthony Lee Vugrin, 43, of Oklahoma City, was arrested in June and was charged with one count of possessing obscene material and four counts of distributing child pornography. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison, with all but the first two years on each count suspended, to be served concurrently. He must register as a sex offender.

Suspect faces trial in death
A man will face trial in the slaying of a teenage boy, a judge ruled Tuesday. Deante James Hawthorne, 20, is charged with first-degree murder in the June 14 shooting death of Khaleeq Landon, 16, at Windsor Village Apartments, 4760 NW 24. U.S. Marshals arrested Hawthorne on June 24 in Ozark, Ala.
