NORMAN — Kansas ended the Oklahoma baseball team's 13-game winning streak by beating the No. 11 Sooners 10-8 on Saturday at Mitchell Park in the finale of a three-game series.
Kansas (15-10, 3-3 Big 12) jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first inning, but Oklahoma (25-5, 5-1 Big 12) rallied to take an 8-7 lead in the fifth inning.
The Jayhawks came back to score two runs in the top of the seventh, and Kansas shortstop Kevin Kuntz drove in another run on an eighth-inning double.
Matt Oberste extended his school-record hitting streak to 30 games with a double that scored Max White.
OU returns to action on Tuesday night in Norman against Oklahoma State.
