“They have really good shooters. They push the ball in transition, so that's what we're trying to focus on taking away. Just being aware, knowing who the shooters are and stopping the ball early in transition.”
How do you feel like you've played this year, and what do you still need to improve on?
“I've gotten a lot better this year. A lot better. I need to improve on being patient when I catch the ball in the post. Not going too quick ... letting everybody clear out before I try to make a move. I need to score a lot more this game. I've been kinda low. I need to start getting more points in the paint.”
How are you training yourself to be more patient?
“I just have to think about it. Every time I catch the ball, ‘Be patient and wait, and then go,' so I don't go too quick and run into double teams. It just makes everything a lot easier when you slow it down.”
