— Oklahoma senior center Nicole Griffin logged only 21 minutes in the Sooners' overtime loss to Louisville last weekend, recording only three points and three rebounds.

OU returns to action Wednesday night at home against UT-Arlington. Griffin, who has started 81 career games, spoke with The Oklahoman about her performance so far this season and being more consistent.

Q: How would you assess your performance through four games?

A: I think I've been a little inconsistent. Sometimes I'm a threat offensively, but then in the Louisville game I didn't hardly score at all. I need to work on being consistent, but that's all I'm really focused on right now.

How can you work on consistency?

For me, it's really just a mindset of looking to get the ball in the post a lot. I mean, we got in foul trouble really early, and (Kaylon Williams) picked it up in the second half toward the end, but I never really got into the flow of things. It's just a mentality of posting somebody up in the paint.
