“It is nice to have guys coming off the bench playing well when you have three starters who didn't get any field goals,” Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger said.

The Sooners got 33 points from their bench players. Clark and Hield were the biggest chunks of those 33, but Andrew Fitzgerald and Sam Grooms each added two points for the Sooners (7-2).

“Again, to this point, different guys coming off the bench are picking us up defensively,” Kruger said. “Buddy did a really good job coming in the first half and gave us good activity in the second half. Cam, of course, was fantastic.”

As for this production from Cam Clark, it's been a little over a year since he had a game this high scoring. On Dec. 2, 2011, Clark scored 18 points in OU's 82-53 victory over Sacramento State.

When asked if he thought if he was due for a big game, Clark looked straight-faced and said, “'Bout time, I'd say.”
