TaShawn Thomas, Houston's leading scorer and rebounder last season, signed a financial aid agreement and will attend OU in 2014-15, as announced by the university on Tuesday.
According to the university's website, OU will file an appeal in an attempt to make Thomas eligible for the 2014-15 season. NCAA transfer rules require Division I transfers to sit out a year before competing at their new institution.
Thomas, a Killeen, Texas, native, averaged 15.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots per game to earn second-team All-American Athletic Conference honors in 2013-14.
